ERS Short-Term Research and Clinical Training Fellowships - open for submissions

The ERS Short-Term Research and Clinical Training Fellowships October 2025 rounds are now open! We would be happy to have your help to promote this within your society’s network.
The STRF programme provides early career researchers, clinicians, and allied health professionals with a unique opportunity to advance their careers in basic, translational, and clinical research.

The CTF programme supports early career healthcare professionals (HCP) through in-depth training at highly qualified institutions.

Both programmes are open to applicants of all nationalities and to those based both in Europe and overseas, although for the CTF programme the applicant’s host institution must be based in Europe.

 

Apply Now! The application deadline is Wednesday, 1 October 2025. All interested candidates must submit their applications before this date.

Plan ahead: A proposal with a mobility component needs involvement from both the home and host institutions. Ensure that you have sufficient time to discuss and negotiate all aspects of the application!
